We can process ECN-2 (Cine) film in 35mm format only.
We can also process B&W 5x4 film.
We can also process 620 film - this would come under any of our 120 services.

C41 film is an additional £5 per roll if the film is dropped with us before 2pm.

Although we always try to accommodate rush jobs they are taken on at our discretion and are dependent on availabilty and current workload.
We do not offer a rush service on Saturday due to our reduced working hours, but if this is something you require please get in touch via email and we can arrange this via negotiation.
Do you process disposable cameras?
Absolutely! Just purchase the process and scan service for the type of disposable camera you have; Colour (C41), B&W or ECN-2.
Can you process and scan half frame?
Yes we can process and scan film that has been shot in a half frame camera - this is at no additional cost.
As standard we scan them as single frames, we can alternatively scan them as diptychs if you prefer - just leave a note in the notes section of your order.
If you order 6x4" prints with you processing and scanning - your film will be scanned and printed as diptychs as standard. If you would like them scanned and printed as single frames please let us know and we can amend your order accordingly to accommodate this.
Please note: as the frames are half the size of standard 35mm frames the scan resolutions and file size will reflect this.
Can you process and scan panoramic formats?
Yes we can - this is at no additional cost.
We can scan 35mm panoramic formats from cameras such as a Hasselblad XPan, Panon Widelux etc. We can also scan 120 panoramic formats up to 6x12.
Can you scan the borders / rebate on my film?
We are unable to scan full film borders / rebate as part of our film processing and scanning services due to the limitations of the Noritsu HS1800 / LS1100.
We are unable to scan any borders / rebate on 35mm film due to the way in which the Noristu HS1800 / LS1100 masks the film.
With 120 film we are able to produce a 'wide' scan can include a slight amount of the border beyond frame edge, however this does not include any of the rebate information - please note the amount of border we are able to scan does vary from camera to camera due to the variations in frame size each camera outputs.
To achieve full border / rebate information we offer digital contact sheets.

What equipment do you use?
C41 colour negative film is developed using a Noritsu V30 automatic film processor, this allows us to produce high quality negatives fast, up to 30 an hour if you were wondering why it was called a V30.
B&W and is processed using a temperature controlled rotary machine, we use Ilfotec HC developer for our B&W film.
E6 processing is outsourced to a dedicated professional, negatives are scanned in-house.
ECN-2 processing is outsourced to a professional cine lab, negatives are scanned in-house. Films are processed in genuine ECN-2 chemistry.
We use an industry standard Nortisu HS1800 / LS1100 for scanning all 35mm, 120 and APS film, this allows for digitisation of your negatives in a range of resolutions suitable for a variety of applications.
Do you cut and sleeve my negatives?
Yes, we cut your 35mm film into strips of 6.
Your 120 film depends on the format but is cut as follows:
6 x 4.5 - 4/4/4/3
6 x 6 - 3/3/3/3
6 x 7 - 3/3/2/2
6 x 9 - 2/2/2/2
Any panoramic formats will be cut appropriately.
Film can also be returned uncut as a whole roll in a clear polyester continuous sleeve.
How long are negatives / prints stored for?
All negatives and prints are stored at the lab for 3 months from the date of purchase. After 3 months has passed your negatives / prints will be disposed of in a GDPR compliant manner.
If you opted for us to dispose of your negatives as part of your order, these are retained for 2 weeks from the date of purchase. After 2 weeks has passed your negatives will be disposed of in a GDPR compliant manner.
Do you edit my scans?
When your negatives are scanned we do a slight colour balance and exposure adjustment on each frame. Our Noritsu HS1800 / LS1100 utilises Digital ICE technology to remove any dust from your colour (C41), E6 and ECN-2 scans, however please note that black and white scans may have some dust present due to the limitations of Digital ICE technology on black and white film.
What if my film is blank?
In the unfortunate case that this does happen, we will issue a partial refund you the scanning / printing cost. Processing cost will still be charged as follows:
Colour (C41) - £5.00

Shipping
What are your shipping rates and times?
To view our shipping policies please click here.
Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free return shipping on processing and scanning orders over £40. This is applied automatically at checkout.
What happens if I don't apply enough postage when posting my film to the lab?
We recommend taking your parcel to the Post Office to ensure the correct postage is applied, usually a stamp is not sufficient and most film needs to be sent as a small parcel.
If insufficient postage is applied this will result in your package being held by the Royal Mail until we pay a fee to have it released and delivered, this fee will then be invoiced to you with an additional 30% surcharge to account for admin and transaction fees.
