Terms of service

Turnaround Times 

Our working days are Monday - Friday excluding any bank holidays, Saturday is not considered a working day as we are open for 3 hours on this day.

  • Colour film - 1 - 2 working days once we receive your film
  • Black & white film - 2 - 4 working days once we receive your film
  • E6 film - 10 - 14 working days once we recieve your film
  • Film scanning - 1 - 2 working days once we receive your film

Please note these are the turnaround times for the processing and scanning of your film, from the point we receive your film in the lab until you receive your scans via WeTransfer. Any shipping times are in addition to this. 

  • Giclée printing - 2 - 3 working days once we receive your files

For Giclée printing the turnaround time measures from the point we receive your files via WeTransfer until the point your prints are ready for shipment or collection.

Processing and Scanning

  • When posting your films to us we recommend you take reasonable measures to ensure your film reaches us safely, we recommend your film is packaged sufficiently and securely to prevent damage in transit, and that you select the appropriate postage method, we recommend choosing a tracked or signed for service. Come Through Lab cannot be held responsible for any damage to or loss of film during delivery to us, this responsibility lies solely with the chosen courier. If any damage to or loss of film has occurred during transit we will contact you to notify you of this and refund your order.
  • We take the upmost care when handling your film at the lab. In the extremely rare event that your film becomes damaged in our care and we are at fault, we will refund your order and provide compensation for the material cost of your film only.
  • If you choose to collect your negatives from the lab we will keep hold of your negatives for 6 months, after this point they will be disposed of in a GDPR compliant manner.
  • If you choose to have your negatives disposed of we will keep hold of them for 2 weeks, after this point they will be disposed of in a GDPR compliant manner.
