Track Brewing Co & Come Through Lab are excited to bring you our second  photography competition. Building on the platform created last year, we are excited to come back with a new theme for the competition and exhibition. 

We are asking you to submit one piece of work that you think best captures the title: 'Moments of... Reflection'. Images will be judged on their strength in response to the theme, we want to see a broad interpretation of reflection, this can be a conceptual or literal interpretation.

We all take time to reflect, either on ourselves or the wider world around us, on our practice, as well as on the subjects we decide to photograph and the subjects we decide to document. We would love to see a deep and meaningful portrayal of the theme, exploring the things that we reflect on as a wider community or personal moments of quiet reflection. 

We are intentionally keeping this broad and open. Images can be shot on any medium - film and digital images are both welcome. We are also welcoming alternative processes, as long as the images are digitised and can be reproduced in print.

Judges will select 5 submitted works for exhibition on the evening. All submissions selected for exhibition will be printed and framed at 50cm x 70cm in house by Come Through Lab. We will speak with each of the finalists once selected to discuss print options and how they wish to display their work within the 50cm x 70cm frame.

The 5 selected works will be exhibited at the Moments of... Reflection Exhibition at the Track Taproom. The overall winner will be announced at the Exhibition opening evening at the Track Taproom, May 28th.

All submitted works will be presented in a projected slideshow at the exhibition and printed 6’’x4’’ for display on the tables at the Taproom on the night of the opening event. We encourage photographers to find their prints, talk about and discuss their work, and even swap prints if they are comfortable doing so. We hope this will showcase a great overview of all the submitted work. 

1st Prize: £100 Track Gift Card, £100 Come Through Gift Card, Case of Track Beer & framed photo submission printed and framed at 50cm x 70cm

Runners up Prize: Framed photo submission printed and framed at 50cm x 70cm & 6 cans of Track Beer

The Moments of... Reflection exhibition launch event will take place at Track Brewing Co Brewery & Taproom - Thursday 28th May, 6pm til late.

Submissions close at 23:59 on Friday, 15th May.
